A family run arable farm including a friendly DIY 19-horse livery yard, outdoor shredded rubber riding arena available for hire (free to our livery tenants) as well as various space, warehousing and storage options available for rent.
Stables
We have 19 stables for rent on a DIY livery basis. We aim to ensure it is a friendly and supportive yard where tenants look out for each other. We offer turnout in paddocks (weather and ground condition allowing) and use of an all-weather surface arena. Straw is available on site, all boxes have lighting and there are electric sockets available. There are toilets and hot water on-site as well as a secure tack room.
Storage, workshops and offices
We have buildings and units available for use and rent as light industrial units, storage facilities or offices which can be tailored to individual client's needs. This includes a warehouse, small units, space to park horse trailer / boxes and other space to meet individual requirements.
Farming
The traditional element of our farming business - growing a variety of crops including wheat, barley, borage, oilseed rape, peas and triticale.
Contracting
From hedge-cutting to paddock maintenance, grass topping, meadow sweeping and top dressing.
For the moment we have scaled back our contracting work but for small to medium sized local jobs, please do get in touch if you want to discuss your needs and we will see if we can help.
We aim to provide 24/7 turnout through the summer months. Through the winter all horses must be in overnight but we aim to turnout every day (dependent on weather and paddock conditions).
No, we offer DIY livery only. However, we aim to have a friendly and helpful culture on the yard where you can build good relationships with other tenant and informally help each other out.
No. We have 5 paddocks, each of which has suitable grazing for 2/3 horses except the geldings paddock which supports 7/8.
This would depend on the space being rented. Our minimum storage contract for our smallest storage units would be for three months. Please do get in touch if you would like to discuss your requirements further.
